Take a belt they already wear and measure from the prong of the buckle to the hole they actually use. That length is their size. No belt to hand? Take the waist of their trousers and add 5 cm.
Between two sizes, or not sure at all? Take the longer one. Our buckles unscrew, so a belt can be cut down at home in a few minutes — or bring it to either Barcelona workshop and we'll do it while you wait. A belt that comes up short can't be fixed.
